Maggie's Softball Game

For the first time, Maggie decided she wanted to play softball this summer.  She started in late April and the season will run through the entire month of June.  Her team is called the Pink Pirates and she's on the team with many of her friends.  She's doing pretty well considering this is her first experience playing and it's machine pitch, too.  She doesn't always hit the ball when she's up at bat, and gets pretty discouraged if she doesn't, but Rob and I just tell her to keep trying and she'll get better and better!  She seems to have a knack for outfield.  When she's not bored waiting on some action and playing in the dirt, she does a great job stopping/catching the ball and getting it to the person on base.  Rob says she seems to be a better defensive player so far.  Here are some pictures from her first game:
