Easter

Maggie started off her Easter morning by opening her Easter basket goodies (new panties, socks, candy, stickers, sunglasses, change, etc.).  Then, Rob, Maggie and I went to Easter Mass.  It was so beautiful outside that we even walked to church!  After we got home, my parents and my brother and his family joined us for an Easter lunch.  We ate, hunted eggs, and spent some quality, family time together!  We were able to spend a lot of time outside on the porch since it was so nice out, too.

She's got a running total of all the money she has saved so far for our Seattle trip this summer!

Maggie's 7th Birthday

Last weekend, we took a group of girls bowling for Maggie's birthday party.  It was great because the girls met us there, we bowled, had pizza and drinks, opened presents, and then had cake.  They provided everything except the cake and we were able to walk out with all the other parents when the party was over because they cleaned up, too!  Maggie and the girls had an awesome time!  Maggie even had the highest score, an 89, out of all 8 girls!!

After we finished the party, we met up with my family to celebrate my dad's birthday, since we had Maggie's party on his actual birthday.  Rob, Maggie, and I went out to dinner with my mom, dad, brother, sister-in-law, niece and nephew.  It was a jam-packed day full of lots of fun and excitement!

Crown Center

Rob's parents were in town for a conference Bob had to go to.  They were staying at Crown Center so Maggie and I got to spend the day with Karen while Bob was at meetings a couple weeks ago.  We walked to Union Station, walked around the shops, ate lunch at Fritz's where the train dropped off our burgers, went to the Wizard of Oz Exhibit, got ice cream, and had dinner together, too.  We had a fun-filled day!!!
