Poor Baby!

Maggie got sick in the middle of the night Sat. night. She ended up vomiting 3 times that night. Then, she started running a fever of 102 yesterday afternoon. She didn't want to eat that much, or drink too much either. She seemed pretty tired, too, and just wanted to lay around. After we gave her some Motrin, her fever came down, she drank more, and perked up. Her temp. raised again last night, so we gave her another dose of Motrin. She woke up once vomiting last night, too. This morning, she woke up with no temp. and has not gotten sick. Her appetite isn't fully back, but it has increased. This is nasty stuff going around and everyone seems to be getting it. I was hoping to avoid it, but no such luck! Hopefully she is done and on the mend!

Maggie's New Hair

Maggie has been wanting to get her hair cut shorter for a couple months. I usually just take her in for trims. She finally convinced Daddy to let her cut her hair because he liked it longer. Well, she got about 3 inches cut from the back and with the layered front, it probably was about 4 inches there. Here is the new Maggie:

Nana and Papa Are Away...Maggie Must Play!!

My mom and dad are in Hawaii, and since they watch Maggie on Fridays (because she doesn't have school), we had to find someone else to watch her last week and yesterday.

Last week, Kerby, someone I work with, watched her. Maggie was so excited, too! She planned out what they were going to do, where they were going to eat lunch, what she was going to wear, and everything! She got to eat Chinese food for lunch, have Dairy Queen for dessert, and get her toenails and fingernails painted.

This past Thursday, Rob's parents came and spent the night with us, so they could stay and watch her yesterday. Well, she is like her mom, and once again had the whole day laid out!! Her and Nana Karen even made a list! They made breakfast, baked Princess cookies, went to 2 parks to play since it was so nice out, ate lunch at McDonalds, watched a movie, bought a new baby bed for her dolls, and played so much that she wore Nana Karen and Papa Bob out!! Once Rob and I got home last night, we all went out for an early birthday dinner for Rob.

She had 2 very fun-filled days spent with Kerby and Nana Karen and Papa Bob!!

Write This One in the History Books Folks!!

My mom always watches Maggie on Fridays since she only has preschool Monday-Thursday. Yesterday, they went up to my parent's house instead of staying at our house. When I called my mom to let her know I was done with work and ready to come get Mag, we talked about just letting her spend the night and me picking her up today instead. Usually Maggie would jump at the chance to spend the night at Nana and Papa's, but I got a call about an hour later, saying she wanted to come home because she missed me. I was kind of excited for a few hours to myself (a very rare occurrence around here), but it melted this mom's heart to know Maggie would pass up a night at Nana and Papa's to be with me!
