Sick Maggie

Poor Mag! She started with a stuffy/runny nose Monday night and it has progressively gotten worse! She now has a stuffy/runny nose, bad cough, and low temp. She did fine at school and Baily's house yesterday, but today was a different story. Ms. Suzy wrote in her notebook that she had a hard time listening today because she seemed to be in a "fog". Plus, Baily called me after Maggie was there for a little over an hour saying that Maggie said she didn't feel good, she was coughing and didn't really want to eat anything at lunch. So, Baily took her temperature and she was running at about 99.9. I got the call at work and went to pick Maggie up. She came home and went right to sleep. I called into the doctor's office. They told me what to watch for and what symptoms we'd need to take her in for, but right now it didn't seem like we needed to take her in. So, needless to say, she will not be going to school tomorrow and probably not Friday either. Hopefully a couple days of rest will get her feeling better!

Maggie Funnies

Today, Maggie and I were driving home when she decided to grace me with her pearls of wisdom once again! She never ceases to amaze me!!

• We've been talking about how it's important to wear seatbelts because it's safer and it's against the law to not have it on. We've explained that police officers could give us a ticket if we didn't have it on. So, she is all about making sure everyone has their seatbelt on in the car now. Today, she asked me if I had mine on and I told her I did. She told me she was glad because I wouldn't get a ticket then. When I asked her if she thought Uncle Brett, who is a police officer, would give me a ticket if I wasn't wearing my seatbelt, she told me no because he's nice!
  
• A UPS truck drove by us and she pointed at it and said, "There goes the truck that brought me my pillow pet and movies!"

Obsessed with Clothes!

Maggie wanted to get dressed this morning, but couldn't quite decide what she wanted to wear. So, she laid out practically every shirt she has with pants and panties to match!

Snow Day

We had a snow day today and Maggie couldn't wait to get outside to play in the snow! Even better, we had hot chocolate and homemade chicken noodle soup when we came in.

Jacobs Christmas
