Deanna Rose

Maggie and I met up with 2 of my friends and their children today to go to Deanna Rose Farmstead. We had a great time! Here are some of the photos from today:

Weekend

We had a great time this weekend!

On Friday, Maggie and I went to the library for the summer reading program. Then, we went up to my brother's house. We got to hang out all day with Uncle Brett and Aunt Ana. That night, they had a get together with friends that we stayed for, too.

On Saturday, Rob, Maggie and I met Rob's parents for lunch. Nana Karen and Papa Bob even took Maggie to the pet store to check out the animals. We had to convince Maggie she didn't need the dog toys she had picked out for her plastic, toy dog at home! Later, we got to spend some time with my parents, too.

Maggie and I spent the night at my parent's house Saturday night because my mom, Maggie and I were doing a 5K walk for Children's Mercy Hospital early Sunday morning. Luckily, the rain held off long enough for a group of Paola people to walk on Sunday. It was a great cause that is very close to our hearts! Here are some pics from the walk:

Tumbling/Dance Class

Maggie's summer enrichment tumbling/dance class started this week. She's not so much into the dancing (in fact, she pretty much just stands there watching everyone else), but loves the tumbling! Miss Bailey had to remind Maggie quite a few times the first day to sit down and wait her turn to do the tricks, but today she did much better! Here are some pics:
