Potty Training

I haven't updated on this subject for awhile, but Maggie is pretty much done with potty training! She has consistently gone without accidents for at least a month or two now. She still wears a diaper for her nap and at bedtime, but often wakes up dry from those, too! I started letting her watch episodes of Max and Ruby if she went potty. I'm not sure if that's what did it, but it sure didn't hurt the process!!!

Celebrating Daddy's Birthday

Uncle Jim came to visit this weekend for Daddy's birthday and he brought along his guinea pigs to Maggie's delight. If you asked her what their name's were, she would say "Albert". She definitely loved holding them, petting them, and feeding them carrots!

Due to another run of bad weather in Kansas, our original plans of meeting up with both my family and Rob's for a birthday dinner were changed. Instead, we met Rob's family for lunch so they could get home before the weather got too bad and met my family for dinner. Maggie kind of misunderstood that it was Daddy's birthday and he should get the ice cream though because she ended up eating almost the entire bowl (as noted in the above picture)!

On a side note, while we were at lunch with Rob's family, Maggie decided she needed to climb up on the back of a chair and then proceeded to fall, landing on her back with the chair on top of her. At first, we couldn't tell what she hit because the blood just filled her mouth and she was crying too hard for us to get a good look, but we finally figured out she cut her bottom lip on the inside, her top lip on the inside, and her gums in the front. Poor thing was heartbroken!
